Landesbank expects an increase of 26 percent – Liechtenstein
VADUZ – The Liechtensteinische Landesbank (LLB) Group expects consolidated earnings of around CHF 138 million for 2021. This corresponds to an increase of 26 percent compared to the previous year.
“The LLB Group successfully continued its growth momentum in the controlled year 2021.” This is how the bank looks back on the past year in a statement on Thursday. The business volume increased by a further 4 billion francs to 106 billion francs in the second half of 2021. For comparison: on December 31, 2020 it was around 93 billion francs.
The business income for 2021 calculated 476 million francs, in the previous year it was just over 430 million. According to the announcement, operating expenses amounted to CHF 313 million (2020: CHF 306.7 million). The consolidated result rose to around 138 million francs compared to 109.8 million francs in the previous year. “It reflects both the growth dynamics, the increased quality of earnings in customer business and the strict cost management,” it continues.
The figures have not yet been checked, this is preliminary information. The LLB Group will publish the audited annual financial statements and the financial report on February 25, 2022. The Annual Report of the LLB Group will follow on March 25, 2022. The Annual General Meeting will take place on May 6.
