SECURITY – The city of Toulouse welcomed, this Wednesday, January 19, 2022, 15 new police officers under the “integrated security contract”. The latter will be assigned to the QRR Izards-Borderouge.
Staff reinforcements for security and justice in Toulouse keep coming. This Wednesday January 19, 2022, 15 new police officers were welcomed by Étienne Guyotprefect of the Occitanie region, prefect of Haute-Garonne, Samuel Vuelta SimonPublic Prosecutor at the Toulouse Judicial Court, Jean-Luc MoudencMayor of Toulouse, President of Toulouse Métropole, and Jean Cyrille Reymonddepartmental director of public security for Haute-Garonne.
New police officers under the “integrated security contract”
These reinforcements are part of the “integrated security contract” signed by the Prime Minister on October 9, 2020. According to prefecture of Occitanie and Haute-Garonnethis document provides in particular for “the granting of additional staff for security and justice in Toulouse” over the period from 2020 to 2026. To fulfill this contract, 55 police officers have already been affected in the pink city.
To these are added 30 additional police officers arrived between early December 2021 and early January 2022 to “strengthen the action of the national police in Toulouse”. Fifteen of them were welcomed this Wednesday, January 19. They were affected at QRR Izards-Borderouge. Three police officers are also expected in early February.
