Eventeo: planning security for events – digital
In the current environment, more and more events are taking place online or in hybrid form – be they conferences, general assemblies or employee and customer events. At hybrid events, guests can choose to follow the event online or physically. The advantages are clear: If an event is also offered online, planning security is significantly increased and the event’s attractiveness is increased, since such platforms offer new opportunities to inspire the guest with interactive elements and to increase the reach of the event.
However, hybrid and virtual events also present organizers with major challenges: Organizers often use a virtual event platform such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams. Such standardized platforms are suitable for team meetings, but are often not flexible enough to cover individual needs for larger events.
After around a year of preparatory work, the founders of Eventeo have now developed a browser-based software solution and have already used it successfully at events such as the Finance Forum Liechtenstein or the Digital Summit, as stated in a press release. The platform is now also offered to customers. With Eventeo, companies and organizations can plan and design virtual events completely according to their needs for the first time.
«The customer decides how the event platform looks visually, he can adapt the design to his wishes. He also determines which functions are offered to the guests, since every occasion has different needs,” the founders are quoted as saying. Organizers can define themselves how many live streams appear and whether functions such as chat conversations, survey options or interactive lists of participants are offered or not. It is also possible to download documents or videos.
Replay as a game changer
In addition to the planning security that the virtual event platform Eventeo offers, the founders particularly emphasize the so-called replay function. “In future, your organizers will be able to offer participation in the live event and then make the video recording available in the replay, which of course massively increases the reach of the event and is a decisive advantage.”
The experiences of the last few months show that the number of viewers can be increased many times over thanks to the replay function. «We are firmly convinced that in 2022 every company and every organization planning a hybrid or virtual event should rely on a virtual event platform.»
Two companies from the event industry
An important feature of the new event platform is its anchoring in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Behind the Eventeo Ltd based in Bendern (FL) and with a branch in Malans (CH), there are two well-known event service providers: the Graubünden film production company On Air Production AG and the Liechtenstein event agency Skunk AG. Both companies with the managing directors Reto Janesch and Stephan Mark as well as Patrick Stahl and Markus Goop have produced and implemented over 500 events in the past 20 years – and have already been using Eventeo for the past few months.
As an additional service, Eventeo offers customers to take over the film and live stream production of their events, whether in their own film studio in Malans or directly at the event location, and to support them in planning and organizing these events. (pd/cbe)
