14 positive in the team group, the match with Inter at risk
The match on Saturday afternoon (6 pm) at San Siro between Inter and Venezia is a strong postponement risk. This morning, in fact, the lagoon club announced that “in addition to the cases recorded on January 15, during the tests carried out daily by the group in the last few days, 10 positives to Covid-19 emerged. In total there are therefore 14 positives in the team group“. That said, the Venice he added that “having informed the competent health authorities, the card holders have been promptly placed in solitary confinement according to the current regulations and will follow the procedures provided for by the health protocol”.
From what has been leaked, there are 8 players and 6 staff members. The number of positive players is crucial, given that with the new protocol there is a threshold of 9 positives (35% of the 25-player squad) to be able to postpone the game with the intervention of the ASL. At this point, also taking into account the further checks that will be carried out during the control hours, all that remains is to wait: for the second match to be recovered in a calendar that has been very busy since February.
