Rossiya Airlines (Aeroflot Group) has launched the sale of regular flights to Apatity, Moscow. informs company press office.
Flights to Khibiny Airport are operated from Pulkovo Airport in St. Petersburg. Flights take place four times a week – on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. The first flight is scheduled for February 11.
Airport “Khibiny” is located in the very center of the Kola Peninsula within the coverage area of the cities of Apatity and Kirovsk, as well as at a distance of no more than 100 km from most cities of the Murmansk region. Thus, routes from St. Petersburg will be convenient for most residents of this region, especially part of it.
The highest ski resort in the North-West of Russia “Bolshoy Vudyavr” is located in the Murmansk region. Due to this geographical location and climate, this resort is one of the oldest in Russia and attracts tourists and snowboarders from all over the country. The skiing season here is one of the longest in Russia: it starts at the end of November and ends at the end of May, although the snow on the slopes continues to lie almost until the end of June. Thanks to the artificial snowmaking project on the slopes of the resort, the skiing season was extended in almost two months: from October to early June.
In addition, Rossiya Airlines, on domestic flights in partnership with Aeroflot, from November 1, 2021 to May 15, 2022 connects passengers with an additional piece of free checked baggage for carrying one set of ski equipment with a total weight of up to 23 kg.
