By relaying an ultimatum issued to Bayer to leave Lyon within 3 months, the GALE made the wrath of the elected representatives of the LR group in the Metropolis of Lyon.
In a press release co-signed with centrist members and members of civil society, the LR mayor of Caluire-et-Cuire Philippe Cochet and his troops attack frontally anti-fascist activists threatening the headquarters of the German giant located rue Sergent Michel Berthet in the 9th district.
“These proposals are of unacceptable violence. By what right can partisans driven by a political ideal threaten with impunity hundreds of employees who worked on the Lyon sites of Bayer – St Pierre and La Dargoire? We denounce this unspeakable aggression and attributes our full support to Bayer SAS and its employees”, they write.
And to end with two requests. The first is intended for the environmentalist president of the Métropole de Lyon, Bruno Bernard, to publicly support Bayer. And the second to the prefect of the Rhône and the Minister of the Interior “to take all measures to ensure the security of the company’s site, its employees and their families, in particular by bringing the dissolution of this group to the Council of Ministers”.
Gérald Darmanin has already put a stop (without much effectiveness) to the ultra-right in Lyon by obtaining the dissolution of Génération Identitaire. Will he attack his counterpart on the ultra-left, who is calling on the headquarters of the Bayer building on March 5 to denounce his actions which “destroy the peasantry” ?
