During “Footballer of the Year” ceremony The names of the three ‘most progressive’ young football players of Bulgaria for the past 2021 were also announced.
As expected, Slavia goalkeeper Svetoslav Vutsov was chosen for №1, followed by Levski’s junior Marin Petkov and Sparta Prague footballer Martin Minchev.
“For me, this is a great thing, because I see that my work is appreciated. It gives me hope and ambition to continue everything like this. 2021 is not so good for me, I played a few games in the Europa League, I scored a few goals for Sparta, but I want more. My big dream is to play in the Champions League, to develop my full potential and win as many titles as possible. “, said Martin Minchev.
“Thanks to my club, I hope we will achieve more in the new season. The most important thing for me is to establish ourselves in our team and start winning things. My most precious memory is the goal against Slavia in the quarterfinals from afar, because it was my first, especially “, said Marin Petkov.
“I am quite sudden and quite happy with the award. It means that my work is appreciated and it makes me very happy and motivates me even more. At first my goal is to be alive and healthy and a possible transfer abroad.”, mentioned Svetoslav Vutsov.
