Börse Express – Employee loyalty in the hotel industry
In just six semesters, employees from the hotel industry receive relevant specialist training at the Tourismuskolleg Innsbruck in addition to their work.
Innsbruck (OTS) – “The hotel industry is always looking for qualified specialists. In order to bind excellent employees to the company and also to open up these career opportunities, the part-time training with its variable schedule is perfect,” explains Christian Grote, Director of the Innsbruck Tourism College. But the Tourismuskolleg Innsbruck offers even more advantages: the apprenticeships for the apprenticeships restaurant specialist, cook, hotel and hospitality trade assistant and travel agency assistant as well as commercial professions are credited to a considerable extent. With the positive completion of the diploma examination, the certificate of competence for the management of all hospitality and hotel businesses as well as the entrepreneurial examination are acquired without further examination. There are no tuition fees.
The 3 pillars of training
The Tourismuskolleg Innsbruck has been training successful employees for the tourism industry for almost 50 years and has become a real career booster. Director Christian Grote is proud: “The tourism college provides specialist theoretical and practical training with many practical assignments. The students can choose from the elective modules international travel management and e-tourism, sports and event tourism or the hospitality industry and set priorities.” The focus of the training content is on languages, business, law and tourism. Other additional qualifications are also attractive, such as training as a young sommelier/young bartender, front office manager (reception training) or the golf proficiency test.
