After an exciting winter camp, European Gan Yisroel for Tzeirei Hashluchim Sweden has opened the summer registration.
“With the changes in the covid situation, children of shluchim can finally travel,” says the rabbi Alexander Namdar, head of Chabad Sweden who founded and leads the camps with his wife, Leah. “The camp is a crucial chinuch experience and it is so important to make it work for as many children as possible to participate.”
This year’s winter camp was a real boost, as campers gathered in Gothenburg to replenish their energy and friendship.
The 10 days were packed with activities, learning, fantastic trips, farbrings and chayus which is the hallmark of Tzeirei Hashluchos.
“Now I feel charged and ready to return to my Shlichus in Rome,” he said Chaya Lazar, 12.
“It’s a fantastic camp that fosters friendship in an atmosphere of true ahavas yisroel,” says Esther Wilhelm from Oslo, Norway, who has sent all his children to camp in Sweden. “It’s a beautiful chassidish environment!”
European Camp Gan Yisroel Sweden for Tzeirei Hashluchim, aims to give Tzeirei Hashluchim from all over Europe an exciting camp experience in a chassidic environment, which makes it possible for them to make new friends with children just like them in so many ways.
Young comrades who live all year round in a similar time zone, who also speak at least one of the languages they do, who live lives devoted to the same ideal … chassidish kinderlach who grow up on Shlichus, just like them!
The camp is a joint project of Chabad Sweden and Merkos Leinyonei Chinuch and MyShliach.
We would like to warmly thank Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky for making the camps more affordable for sluchim with extra scholarships.
Camp is run in both English and Hebrew.
With dedication and care for the Rebbe’s “Shluchimlach”, the experienced and cassidic staff will make this a summer to remember, bezH!
