FASHION WEEK – On the sidelines of the parades, the presentations of Brioni, Tod’s, Brunello Cucinelli or even Missoni highlight a classic wardrobe cut for today.
On the sidelines of the 16 physical parades of this Milanese fashion week which ends today, several brands had chosen the intimate presentation in public. Staged on mannequins or clothes racks, the collections reflect a desire to revisit the classic men’s wardrobe: suits, knits, long coats, leather shoes… All with a contemporary vision cut for our times.

In a superb (admittedly faded) palace on Via Santa Maria Valle, the legendary Roman tailor Brioni welcomed the press and his most loyal customers to present his wardrobe for next winter. A very formal wardrobe at first glance, which gives pride of place to suits. But on closer inspection, we realize that these suits of a new kind and of crazy elegance are neither rigid nor narrow, perfectly flexible and made of materials of excellent craftsmanship, alpaca with ultra-fine cashmeres.
