NYT: Russia is going to evacuate diplomats from Ukraine

Diplomats at two Russian consulates in Ukraine have been ordered to prepare to leave the country. The newspaper reports The newspaper “New York Times referring to a high-ranking Ukrainian security officer.
According to the official, 18 people left the country on January 5, mostly children and wives of diplomats. In the coming days, Ukraine added, 30 people and consulates in Lvov are expected to leave Kiev.

“We have information indicating that the Russian government was preparing to evacuate their family members from the Russian embassy in Ukraine in late December and early January,” the statement said.
