Six packages, containing six mobile phones, were stolen by the ill-intentioned driver, said a police source contacted by L’Opinion Indépendante.
It all started with a complaint, in mid-October, filed by Chronopost. The company suspected an unscrupulous driver, working as a subcontractor, of being the author of several thefts. Two parcels containing cell phones were stolen.
The delicate investigation of the‘Unit of used goods on the Right Bank led to the discovery of no less than six packages, containing six mobile phones, which were stolen by the ill-intentioned driver, specifies a police source contacted by The Independent Opinion.
The individual partially acknowledged the facts
The events took place between March and September 2021. The investigators managed to trace the thread of these repeated thefts since the individual was reselling the cell phones on the internet.
A total of six complaints were filed by Chronopost. The suspect was summoned to the police station on Friday January 14. The 24-year-old man, known to the police, partially acknowledged the facts. He was let free but will have to explain himself again in court in April 2022.
