CTO San Marino takes to the streets in support of tourism
Take to the streets on January 19 to express their dissent. That’s what he decided CTO San Marino (Organized Tourism Committee) in light of a situation that sees the tourism sector still face large difficulty and whose restart is still at risk.
The situation
“The sector is experiencing a drastic drop in bookings – he warns Luca Ruco, head of the committee – and those few have been canceled. Organized tourism is drifting and there are no more excuses from the institutions: the government must do its part ”.
For this reason the Committee – together with the dispatchers and all those who are directly affected and arrive by this crisis – has decided to take to the streets. The protest will be held on 19 January from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm at the Kursaal Congress Center during the session of the Great General Council. “It will be one peaceful demonstration – explains Ruco – which will involve all the associations and also the trade unions who want to be part of it, for ask concrete help because the funds allocated up to now are not enough to cover the problems of a sector, such as the tourism one, which is still at a standstill today and which has no certainty for the future. It is feared, in fact, that the resumption of tourism will not take place before 2024 ″.
