“Certain political censorship of every era”
The conclusions of the Commission of Inquiry on the banking system reveal older and more recent responsibilities, especially during the last legislature. The Agenda signed by the majority, strongly supported by RETE, censures any political responsibility for the bank failure, strongly condemning both the political decisions of the late 90s and what happened in the last legislature. Censorship and sends to the Court for any further fulfillment, as regards the 90s and 2000s, the madness of the financial center, the granting of banking and financial licenses for business purposes, the adequate checks and the failure to sign the absence of the cooperation agreement with Italy. He censors and sends to the Court for any further fulfillment, as regards the last legislature, the criminal plan hatched against the San Marino financial system and the choice of the then government to endorse the criminal plan of the “Confuorti / Grandoni group”. In fact, from the report of the Commission of Inquiry it emerges that San Marino has been prey to external interference with the complicity of power groups still present in the territory, which have supported its aims rather than oppose them. In addition to this, the agenda gives a mandate to the Congress of State and the Cassa di Risparmio to take immediate action, in light of the order that dismantles the accusatory system of the “Varano” trial, to claim any reimbursement of the patrimonial and reputational damage unjustly immediately . It also gives a mandate to rapidly implement the anti-corruption regulations by committing the members of the Great and General Council to participate in the members not only in income, but also in assets, ie to receive them, highlighting any conflicts of interest. Unlike the other Orders of the Day, presented by the opposition and by some scattered Councilors, who suffered from squint censoring one or the other phase of the problem, forgetting what happened in the most distant years or just a couple of years ago, we believe that the one approved , censoring certain politics of every era, can represent a starting point for solving the problems that have emerged so that they do not recur and waiting for the Judiciary to do its part if it deems it has sufficient evidence for criminal, civil or administrative actions. It is certainly a guarantee, for all San Marino citizens, that today’s Court, headed by a magistrate of undisputed international fame such as President Canzio, can carry out its role with impartiality and free from any conditioning.
