B_Smart Selection expands in Liechtenstein
By 2023, B_Smart Selection is planning two new “smart” accommodation establishments in the municipality of Schaan.
The municipality of Schaan in the Principality of Liechtenstein is expected to receive a total of 38 new hotel rooms in the first half of next year, according to a statement from B_Smart Selection, which was founded in 2014. The group with hotels in Switzerland and Liechtenstein is particularly active in the self-check-in hotel industry.
In the commercial building Ampera House, which is currently under construction by the brothers Sascha and Mandy Quaderer, a B_Smart Motel with 15 hotel rooms, primarily geared towards business areas, will be built on the top floor. THIS WILL build on the established concept of B_Smart Selection with the existing locations in Sevelen, Landquart and Basel.
Smart concept in the monastery
The already existing hotel rooms in the south wing of the building in the St. Elisabeth monastery are being completely renovated. These rooms were previously run by the community of sisters themselves as a guest house. The sisters would like to concentrate on their core tasks in the future and therefore transfer the management of their guest business.
During the conversion work, the character of the monastery built in 1935 was taken into account, as the hotel group continues. The operation will skilfully combine traditional values with innovative elements and will be managed under the “Kloster by B_Smart” brand. Thanks to its extraordinarily attractive location, the offer should also be aimed at leisure travellers.
The guest can check in at both establishments around the clock at the self check-in. He already pays for the overnight stay including breakfast at check-in, which gives him the advantage that he no longer has to check out on the day of departure. In order to make his arrival and departure flexible, the guest can also book spontaneously on site. (htr/npa)
