The names of the 60 semifinalists of “A voice for San Marino” revealed
There is less and less to find out who will be the singer who will represent San Marino at theEurovision next May at the Pala Alpitour in Turin. Meanwhile, the wait is over to discover the 60 competitors who have passed the first phase by accessing the semifinals: the complete list of names, in alphabetical order, is available below. For example, one of the most appreciated singers by the jury, the only Maltese semi-finalist, is Kurt Cassar: “It is my first experience here – he says -, I enjoyed it very much. I brought two songs by artists who inspire me when I write. It was a positive experience, I will recommend it to other artists as well”.
Most of the semifinalists are Italian, but there are also competitors from neighboring Austria, France and Germany, but also from the UK, the Czech Republic, Portugal and Norway, as well as a singer from Brazil. No San Marino in the top 60, but i six registered citizens will have a semifinal dedicated to them on February 16th. The calendar of “Una voce per San Marino”, we recall, foresees the semifinals at the Titano Theater from 13 to 17 February and the final emerging the following day. There very final instead it will be the February 19 to the New Dogana Theater: here the first nine will challenge nine big Italians invited by Media Evolution. Seven judges are expected for the emerging artists phase and five for the grand final. In these last two evenings the public for a fee and the shows will be filmed and broadcast by San Marino Rtv. For the first three rankings prizes up to 7 thousand euros.
Thus we arrive at the most excited phase of the casting, which in its first edition has achieved excellent results. “This first phase of the competition is satisfactory – he explains Alessandro Capicchioni, Head of Delegation of San Marino of the Eurovision Song Contest – both in terms of numbers, with 585 members, and in terms of quality, since the jurors were also very limited “.
