EAM talks to equivalents from Sweden, Hungary, EU
New Delhi, 17 January (UNI) Foreign Minister S Jaishankar spoke on Monday with his counterparts from Sweden and Hungary and with the EU’s foreign policy chief, during which they examined bilateral trade relations.
In a series of tweets, EAM mentioned his separate telephone interactions with the three top officials.
During their talks with the Hungarian FM Péter Szijjártó, the two discussed bilateral cooperation in trade, investment, education, mobility and health.

“We are convinced that the positive momentum from 2021 will grow further in 2022.
“Looking forward to welcoming him to India soon,” he wrote.
In his conversation with Swedish FM Ann Linde, he said that the two discussed the Covid situation, about Nordic co-operation and green transition

“Our bilateral relationship continues to develop steadily.”
He also spoke with EU Foreign Minister Josep Borrell Fontelles. They examined trade and investment, accession and strategic aspects of cooperation between India and the EU, as well as Afghanistan and Myanmar.

“Revised trade and investment, accession, climate action and strategic aspects of India-EU cooperation.
“Discussed global hotspots, especially Afghanistan and Myanmar.”
