Due to the drop in demand from January 24 to the end of February, Czech Railways will reduce the operation of SuperCity Pendolino trains between Prague and Ostrava. This follows from the announcement that the carrier sent to its customers and informed about it on Twitter. These will be the SC 500, SC 507 and SC 509 trains, which will be canceled on most days without compensation.

Restrictions due to the spread of coronavirus among employees will occur when the disease eliminates about 1,500 operating workers, ie about 15 percent of the total number. According to the carrier, the cancellation of lines is the last possibility of crossover.
