Back to basics. Like a desire to move on has chosen despite the pandemic. After a reduced edition in 2021, thethe Organizing Committee of the Automobile Club of Monaco wanted to refocus the event on the principality to be able to celebrate the 90th edition.
Until then, and since 2014, the service park was based in Gap in the Hautes-Alpes, the home town of world champion Sébastien Ogier.
The Gapençais has also announced his semi-retirement recently. He will participate in this round, but without having the ambition to win the championship.
