Borussia M’gladbach starts dosed in preparation for Hanover
Various professionals are missing at the start of the week in Borussia Mönchengladbach’s team training. Including Tony Jantschke and Jordan Beyer, as can be seen from the Bundesliga club’s training report. The two defenders stayed inside, as did Breel Embolo and Manu Koné. They work regeneratively or are damaged.
Denis Zakaria, meanwhile, worked individually on the pitch for his return. Striker Marcus Thuram was also there, but he limited himself to a running program.
Regarding the report originally dated January 17, 2022:
Gladbach starts dosed in preparation for Hanover
Borussia Mönchengladbach don’t have much time for training before the next game. The DFB Cup Round of 16 against Hannover 96 will take place on Wednesday. Two days before the duel, the foals have a fairly moderate training program on the schedule, like them Rheinische Post reported. Some players weren’t even on the pitch.
Among them Manu Koné and Breel Embolo, who played 90 minutes in the 2-1 defeat by Bayer 04 Leverkusen on Saturday, as well as Hannes Wolf (not in the squad).
One reason for the absences has not yet been handed down. At least with regard to Embolo, the newspaper has information that the striker should be able to play.
Thuram goes into the dressing room a little earlier
Also absent on Monday were Christoph Kramer (cold), Denis Zakaria (hip strain) and Ramy Bensebaini (Africa Cup). Marcus Thuram also ended a little earlier. In his case, too, there is no further justification.
