Slow down, the pollution episode will continue this Monday
Once is not custom, we must rejoice to be forced to wear the mask in the street in Toulouse. The absence of wind for several days and the heating pushed to the bottom due to the winter cold combine to create in Haute-Garonne and Tarn-et-Garonne a peak of pollution with fine particles (PM10). The two departments are already classified red this Sunday, and
the Regional Air Observatory (Atmo Occitanie) has just extended the alert until Monday.
Fragile people who prevent respiratory or heart diseases should avoid major traffic routes and reduce their physical activities. In the event of discomfort or discomfort, the authorities advise them to consult their pharmacist, their doctor or to contact the Air Santé office on 05 61 77 94 44.
