Russia has nothing to do with hacker attacks on Ukrainian government sites. This was stated by the press secretary of the head of state Dmitry Peskov in an interview with CNN.
He noted that Moscow “saw such messages”, but our country has nothing to do with this.
“Russia has nothing to do with cyber attacks. We have heard accusations against Russia that Russia is behind this. But no proof was provided,” said Dmitry Peskov.
The presidential spokesman also said that the Kremlin sees “as a continuation of other unsubstantiated punishments against Russia,” but Moscow has long been “accustomed to the fact that the Ukrainian side blames Russia for everything, even bad weather in their country.”
Fragments of the video recording of this interview are published on their page in Twitter Hill newspaper.
Recall, as the site kp.ru wrote, unknown hackers hacked the websites of the Ukrainian ministry and found dangerous messages at three levels: Ukrainian, Russian and Polish. The portals of the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food were attacked by hackers.
The text of the messages states that personal information about all Ukrainians is uploaded to a certain “common network”, and all personal data that is on the computers of the residents of Nezalezhnaya will be permanently deleted, “it is impossible to restore them.”
Deputy National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine Sergey Demedyuk stated that hackers from the UNC1151 group, which are subject to distribution by the intelligence services of Belarus, are behind this cyber attack.
