RL: Münster wins – Fortuna Cologne in the cup sovereign – KFC with bankruptcy
A week before the start of the rest of the round in the Regionalliga West, the teams use the opportunity to test diligently.
While the league competition played friendlies this weekend, Fortuna Köln continued with a competitive game. The round of 16 in the Middle Rhine Cup was on the program.
Germania Teveren – Fortuna Cologne 0: 5
Fortuna solved the task in the Middle Rhine Cup with ease and made it through to the quarter-finals by beating the state league. Crack: 0: 1 Marquet (27th), 0: 2 Försterling Beltran (45th), 0: 3 Hölscher (59th), 0: 4 Imbongo Boele (84th), 0: 5 Kegel (86th).
Eintracht Rheine – Prussia Munster 0:4
Without five top performers – Alexander Langlitz (back problems), Manuel Farrona Pulido (stomach and intestines), Luke Hemmerich (heel inflammation), Jules Schwadorf (rhea after tendon tear) and Dennis Daube (cruciate ligament tear) – the SCP clearly won the upper division. Crack: 0: 1 Remberg (15th), 0: 2 Wegkamp (41st), 0: 3 Ziegele (71st), 0: 4 Thiel (78th).
VfB Homberg – SV Straelen 4:2
Pascale Talarski (2), Pierre Nowitzki and Julian Meier scored the Homberger goals. Timo Mehlich and Tobias Peitz were successful for Straelen.
1. FC Düren – FC Wegberg-Beeck 2:3
The regional league team narrowly won 3-2 in the table leaders in the Middle Rhine League.
Crack: 0: 1 Weggen (13th), 1: 1 Wipperfürth (18th), 1: 2 Redjeb (22nd), 2: 2 Merl (25th), 2: 3 Weggen (83rd).
Westerlo – Alemannia Aachen 4:2
Alemannia lost to the leaders of the second Belgian league. Oluwabori Falaye and guest player Aboubacar Cisse (FC Wacker Innsbruck II) scored for Aachen.
1. FC Bocholt – KFC Uerdingen 1:0
Marcel Platzek scored the goal of the day after 20 minutes. For KFC Uerdingen it was the third friendly defeat in the third game.
Bonner SC – VfB Hilden 2:0
In the final game of the winter preparations against the Oberliga team VfB Hilden, Bonner SC won 2-0 (0-0). Daniel Somuah from the penalty spot and Tackie Sai both scored on the Josefshöhe artificial turf pitch in the second half.
SV Lippstadt – Hesse Kassel 4: 3
Marvin Mika (2) and Fabian Lübbers (2) scored the Lippstadt goals.
