Terre Noire in concert in Toulouse
The group Terrenoire will be in concert in Toulouse on February 15 at the Metronum. In the meantime, he will present a sequel to their album Forces Contraires on February 4 and is nominated for the Victoires de la Musique 2022.
Stories of love and death. Of lights and darkness mixed together. And always at the end of the tunnel of these passions and these intimate dramas, the radiation of a largely positive solar energy. We don’t come out unscathed from listening to Terrenoire’s first album. It’s a great quality to be shaken by artists at a time when so many works seem interchangeable and quickly forgotten over the updating of playlists.
At the helm of this project really unlike any other, two brothers Raphaël and Théo Herrerias, who grew up in the popular district of Terrenoire (hence the name of course), in the suburbs of Saint-Étienne.
From start to finish, swollen with this intriguing transformed sap, between electronics and song, already instantly recognizable, which belongs only to Terrenoire. Bringing them closer to the masterpieces that have shaped their musical imagination, Kid A by Radiohead, L’imprudence by Alain Bashung or even the flights of free beats from the Californian label Brainfeeder. Without being able to decelerate in the compositions of Raphaël and Théo the slightest proximity to any known musical universe. Terrenoire is Terrenoire.
A full start to 2022!
The group starts the year like a tornado. In addition to the date in Toulouse on February 15, TerreNoire is named as Revelation of the year at the Victoires de la Musique 2022. And that’s not all. We expect the sequel to their album Forces Contraires on February 4th.
