The FeSo Consortium has won the China-Hungarian Railway Nonprofit Ltd. for the development of the railway line between Ferencváros station and Soroksár – the VG in the latest issue of the European Public Procurement Notice.
V-Híd Építõ Zrt. And China Railway Magyarország Kft. Jointly submitted the winning bid for the implementation of the project representing the northern section of the Budapest-Belgrade railway line.

The final total value of the procurement, which is not related to a project or program paid for from European Union funds, is USD 173.63 million (HUF 54 billion more at today’s exchange rate). The original estimated total value of the contract was somewhat higher, at $ 173.7 million.
The agreement was signed by the parties on 2 January. The information on the outcome of the procedure reveals that the contracting authority, ie China-Hungarian Railway Nonprofit Ltd., has initiated and initiated a conditional procurement procedure, as the cover is not available. “The contracting authority has taken the decision to close the procedure on the condition that the final step in the contract is the availability of collateral,” the VG quotes the document as saying.
