Haslauer expects a travel warning from the Germans

Salzburg is now facing another travel warning from Germany, says Governor Wilfried Haslauer (ÖVP). Everything else is surprising in view of the high number of infections. In the state, the test capacities are now to be massively expanded.
According to the health authorities, the incidence in Salzburg is now 1,881 – as of Friday noon. Austria-wide is 924.
Prime Minister hopes for a decline in February
A new travel warning from Germany will probably come, says Haslauer: “This system is coming. SHE WILL hit all countries all over the world. It is important that we get out again quickly. It is not that important in January. It becomes really important for the semester break for winter tourism. I hope that the travel warning can then be lifted again. “
Land continues to expand antigen test system
The high number of infections would push the PCR test capacities to their limits. Not only schoolchildren, but also employees have to wait longer than 24 hours for their evidence. According to Haslauer, the country is therefore expanding the antigen test infrastructure and has reached 80 stations in the communities with monitored rapid tests. There are also 14 Red Cross test stations available. There are also test offers in pharmacies and PCR gargle tests from Novogenia.
