Hanson will release a new album, “Red Green Blue,” and a 2022 world tour
Hanson have announced plans to release a new album and world tour in 2022.
The trio, which made their breakthrough in 1997 with the hit song MMMBop, will release the song “Red Green Blue” on May 20, which consists of three solo projects.
An LP celebrating the band’s 30th anniversary will be previewed by each member. Taylor Hanson will share “Child At Heart” on February 11, Isaac Hanson will drop “Write You A Song” on March 11, while Zac Hanson will release “Don’t Let Me Down” on April 15.
“As we turned 30 as a band, we felt it was necessary for us to continue telling our stories as we can and telling stories in ways that challenge us to continually grow and give people new reasons to listen,” Isaac said. . “‘Red Green Blue’ is a sharing of what has made us a band that has withstood so many storms.”
The trio are also embarking on a world tour featuring a number of UK dates, including a performance at the London Roundhouse on 30 June. Meanwhile, Zac Hanson apologized in the past when his deleted Pinterest account, full of controversial and offensive weapons memes, leaked online.
One account meme suggested supporting George Zimmerman in the murder of Trayvon Martin in 2012, while another compared the right to use an AR-15 rifle to Rosa Parks ’right to sit on a bus.
