The French head of state met the Monegasque Red Cross on January 10 in Tende, during a review of reconstruction after storm Alex.
The night of October 2-3, 2020 left deep bruises in the small town of Tende. The Monegasque Red Cross is one of the organizations that are deeply involved in helping the survivors of this tragedy, when many families have lost their own and all their property.
Emmanuel Macron had promised to return to the Roya valley to take stock of the progress of the reconstruction work. It is chosen made this Monday, January 10, where he was able to observe the situation on the spot, more than one after the disaster.

The Monegasque Red Cross sent a delegation made up of Ms. Bettina Ragazzoni-Janin, Treasurer General, Claude Fabbretti, Director of First Aid and International Action and Philippe Giuffra, Head of Relief. Their dedication and involvement were highlighted. The Principality of Monaco was also thanked for all the financial assistance provided.
