US State Department spokesman Ned Price said Russia could spread misinformation about unfulfilled obligations or provoke something as a pretext for further destabilization on the border with Ukraine. He announced this at a briefing, Reuters…
Price noted that Russia could take such measures to “justify the legacy and create a pretext for maintaining the invasion of Ukraine.”
According to observations, the United States expects that in the coming days its contacts with Russia will continue and that they will be effective.
Price stressed that Washington is determined to continue the dialogue with Moscow while de-escalating the border with Ukraine.
“We clearly understand that dialogue and dialogue can only be carried out if they are carried out in conditions of de-escalation,” he said.
