Memorial to Michelle Smith (1966 – 2022) – Waukesha, WI
Michelle Jean Smith, died January 5, 2022, at the age of 55 years. He was born April 19, 1966, to the family of Ervin Dalen and Gloria Jean “Jimmy” (b. Graser) Smith in Waukesha. He was a graduate of Waukesha South High School. After that, he studied at Suomi College for 2 years and completed an associate’s degree in personnel services. He was grateful for the many friends he made there. He continued his education at Carthage College and completed a bachelor’s degree in psychology. His heart towards people and strong determination led to a very full and rewarding career. I worked as a psychologist first for Willow Glen, then for Charter Hospital, and finally for Waukesha Memorial Hospital. He continued his career as a mental health advisor and then as a financial support expert at Waukesha Co. Finally, she worked at Molina Health Care as an Iris Consultant. No matter where he worked or with whom he worked, he was a “go” employee. She was a dedicated mother and friend to all; always thinks of others before himself. His brother Curt is quoted as saying, “He was the strongest person he has ever met. Despite all the adversity, he remained strong and was a true leader.” He was a member of Bridge Church, where he forged great relationships and grew his already strong faith. His love and passion for others was evident throughout his life.
Her children Kayla A. (Lawrence) Glymph and Chandler J. Smith will miss her immensely. She was the beloved sister of Lynne (Robert) Brandt, Ervin Loren Smith Sr., and Curt Dale Smith. His special nieces and nephews Tracie (Brian) Zimmer, Ervin Loren Smith Jr., Colleen (Michael) Reinelt, Bradley (Beth) Brandt and 8 nieces and nephews.
