Index – FOMO – Bagossy Norbert has reached a milestone
The Bagossy Brothers Company has come a long way. The musicians of Gyergymiklós formed their orchestra in 2013, and after a while they set up their base in Hungary for their success. They have conquered the big stages of the festivals in a row, and their fan base will soon be huge – they are now arguably one of the most popular bands, who are not at risk of event organizers, as there is always a lot of interest in their announced performances.
The musicians will take the stage on January 14 at the Budapest Arena. Such an event is a milestone in the lives of all bands, some who, even after decades of careers, will not reach the level to fill a venue capable of accommodating 15,000 people. Sure, thousands of crowds can be brought in at festivals and free city events, but the stand-alone gigs really show how big a band’s paying audience is, that is, how many people actually actually attend their songs.
The band is already getting ready for the event, they are trying at the Erzsébetliget Theater, where we ask, the camera of the Index has also been admitted. In the video below, you can also take a look around the venue, where we talked to Norbert Bagossy and Attila Tatár about the January 14 production.
Maybe not everyone knows, but the Bagossy Brothers Company is running for the arena for the second time, and they had to postpone the previously announced party due to an event stop due to the coronavirus epidemic. Of course, the band wasn’t bored during the long forced break either – they recorded a record and the scenes were constantly working to get them ready to start when the concerts finally got the green light. Last summer, when they had eased some of the restrictions and allowed live music events under certain conditions, once again provided an experience reminiscent of the pre-epidemic period, and while they were excited about the omission, they managed to cut in. to the arena concert.
At the end of the season, we had to decide whether to start the arena with full steam or possibly give up. I’m really glad we cut in because ticket sales show that there is still demand for this. Not only am I glad we can play music, but the audience has a need for live music and hasn’t sealed their standing to go to concerts so much from the past. People do want to go to concerts – they want to go to big concerts! And we are especially happy about that
Said Attila Tatár.

What it means to perform at the Budapest Sports Arena at that moment, and when it came to the fact that they felt ready for a party of such a large volume, can really be considered a very interesting arc. According to Attila Tatár, attendance at club concerts, festivals and parties in Budapest Park was a perfect measure of how popular the band is. The capacity of the Park is not left behind by the arena, and producing a full house in such a location is a real milestone – in that case, it is worth thinking about cutting an ax into a bigger tree.
THEwhen at home as a 15-year-old teenager he grabs his guitar and starts penget the first akkhis orders, somewhere this is what he sees in front of him, even if not consciously
Said Norbert Bagossy. According to Attila Tatár, in the Hungarian light music, the László Papp Sports Arena is a goal that if a band achieves, you might even feel that almost everything from the boot list has been achieved. The guitarist thinks the whole thing is exciting, whether after that the given one can still stay creative enough to be interesting for the production and the audience for decades to come.
The team is preparing for the January 14 event with a lot of extras. On the one hand, they’ve never staged a show with such a long show before, so it was also a challenge to select songs to be exciting from start to finish. The guest musicians will also join them at the concert, although their names are still hidden, they have revealed so much that the Gheorgheni 4S Street it will warm the audience, with whose members they have had a good friendship since childhood. Fans from Transylvania will also come to the party, for whom special wagons will be provided thanks to MÁV – the touring cars called Hegyilevegő Express from Brasov will run to the Eastern Railway Station on Friday morning.
There’s a lot of excitement, too, and we’re really looking forward to the feeling that in a closed space, the same crowd, say a crowd of ten thousand, is starting to sing with us. I think it can be a creepy feeling, in a good way. This is one of the things I personally look forward to, for example
Said Attila Tatár. The event details can be found here.
