PICTURE: In the basilica of St. Peter and Paul said goodbye to Alois Hynek for the last time
Family, friends, church and army are on Thursday, January 6 in the Basilica of St. Peter and Paul at Vyšehrad said goodbye to Alois Hynek, a retired colonel. The church funeral was served by Jan Kotas, the canon of the Royal Collegiate Chapter of St. Peter and Paul at Vyšehrad and the Rector of the Archbishop’s Seminary in Prague.

The last farewell to Alois Hynek, a retired colonel, took place in the Basilica of St. Peter and Paul in Vyšehrad.

The funeral with military honors was provided by the Prague Crew Headquarters with the participation of a unit of the Czech Army’s Honor Guard and accompanied by a sextet of the Central Music of the Czech Army. Military honors included three honors. At the sound of the national anthem, the coffin was then placed in a funeral service vehicle.

Alois HynekAfter a rehabilitation after 1989, a friend of the writer Pavel Kohout and a signatory of a petition in support of the 2000 Words Manifesto, he took part in projects at the Center for Stress Research and the Center for Social Studies of the Czech Army under the leadership of world-renowned sociologist Colonel Jaroslav Sýkora.
