She is the worst hit Prague West, which the district holds Czech Linden. These two districts follow the district Prague AND Prague East.
We can see the positive in the number of hospitalized people who have a declining trend. While on Wednesday, December 22, it was in hospitals 4574 persons of which 816 it required extra care, on Wednesday it was 2714 persons and 482 people with a severe course.
“Given that omicron is significantly more contagious than the delta variant and given the numbers of positive samples suspected of omicron after discriminant PCR tests, it can be expected that the omicron variant will become dominant relatively quickly. The National Reference Laboratory has estimated that more than 50% of all positive cases could reach omicron in about ten days to two weeks. “ said on Tuesday the director of the State Institute of Public Health MUDr. Barbora Macková
However, the omicron has no effect on the death toll yet. Dozens of people are still dying in hospitals, according to statistics they died on Wednesday 20 people. The total number of deaths is currently 36 449 people.
