‘Ajax violated Dutch and Portuguese corona rules when returning to Amsterdam’
Ajax did not adhere to the corona rules on Wednesday, conclude The Telegraph and the General Newspaper. The Amsterdammers fly four infected players home in a private plane, but that is actually not allowed.
Ajax would have violated both the Portuguese and Dutch corona rules. In the said country, infected people must self-isolate until a doctor gives permission to go outside again. Two basic players, have not adhered to that.
In addition, people who have tested positive are not allowed to fly by the Dutch government. This also applies to top athletes, for whom exceptions are made to many rules. However, the infected Ajax players flew back to the Netherlands in a private jet: the national champion did not want to leave his employees behind in Portugal.
Ajax does not want an explanation of this reporting to De Telegraaf. At Vitesse, the Portuguese and Dutch guidelines have now been adhered to: the positively tested employees are staying behind in Portugal.
