Smoke in the cabin: Finnair Airbus A350-900 returns to Helsinki
On 5 January, Finnair’s Airbus A350-900 (registered OH-LWH) will operate on flight AY141 between Helsinki and Bangkok, Thailand. Shortly after take-off – at an altitude of 4,000 feet – the plane landed and returned to Helsinki for a safe landing.

Aviation Herald more that the passengers informed them that they had been notified that the air-conditioning system might become steam, but after departure they first smelled smoke and saw the smoke intensifying, while fire alarms fired around the plane.
The airline said the plane had returned due to smoke detector signs, passengers were taken to hotels. The cause is being investigated.
