We are talking about a ban on the sale of tobacco products to citizens born after 2014. The parliamentarian explained that in some European countries they are working to ban the sale of tobacco products in any form – aikos, snus, cigarettes, electronic cigarettes, vapes – to people born after this date.
Khamzaev notes that the anti-tobacco campaign, which is being conducted in the world and in Russia, resembles a “squirrel in a wheel”, the number of smokers annually. According to the federal project “Sober Russia”, which is a planetary deputy, in 2020 Russians smoked 280 billion cigarettes. At the same time, new threats appear in the form of new means of consuming nicotine.

The parliamentarian added that softer measures should be applied to smokers, and those who did not start smoking, “we must protect.”
Earlier, Sultan Khamzaev posted “scary pictures” on alcoholic beverages, like on packs of cigarettes, with the protection of Russians. According to him, about 65-70 percent of the packaging area is occupied by photographs depicting the “tragic consequences” of drinking alcohol, as well as the signature that alcohol kills in any quantity.
