During the festive period, the Brussels police had to shut down two parties in Brussels cafes. In one case, 198 guests were present, a number had already fled through the roofs when the police arrived. 63 full and several empty bottles of nitrous oxide were found in the cafe.
The police of the Brussels-Capital-Ixelles zone were alarmed about a fight because they were denied access to the bar. When the police went to look at the bar, the curtains were closed, but there were clearly a lot of people inside. Although the politicians made a point of it, the door remained closed.
After contacting the park it was decided to invade. At that time, some people had forced a window on the toilets and fled through the roofs. A total of 198 persons were found and identified within.
It was clear to the police that laughing gas was being sold to those present in the case. Empty and full bottles were on the tables. In total, 63 full cans of laughing gas were seized. Dozens of empty copies were found in the basement. All those present left after identification and the bar was also confirmed to be closed for several days.
Not much later that night, just outside the center, a second bar closed where 122 people were enlightened. Here too, in addition to the late opening hour, the corona measures were taken for granted. The bar was confirmed to be closed for several days.
