Allach: Two seriously injured in a traffic accident
Two women were seriously injured in a traffic accident in Allach this afternoon. A Jaguar and a Smart collided on a bridge over the A99 motorway. The jaguar then scraped along the guardrail about a hundred yards before stopping. The Jaguar driver was able to leave his vehicle unharmed. The Smart was thrown onto the passenger side in the collision. The Smart was transported back onto the tires by the Allach volunteer fire brigade and the professional fire brigade.
This is done as gently as possible with a so-called ladder lever. The roof of the Smart was then removed using a hydraulic rescue device.
This enabled the 26-year-old woman and her 60-year-old mother to be rescued from the vehicle in an axially correct manner and gently. The two women were then transported to the shock rooms of Munich clinics. In order to clarify the cause of the accident, the special commissioner of the Munich police started the investigation. The jaguar was also badly damaged in the collision.
