68 more corona cases: Omikron now dominant – Liechtenstein
VADUZ – Within one day, 68 other people who die in Liechtenstein tested positive for the corona virus. In 51 cases it is an infection with the Omicron variant. As of Tuesday evening, 8 Covid-19 patients met in the hospital.

Over the past seven days, an average of 47 new corona infections were reported per day. In the previous seven days, there was an average of 37 new infections a day.
There are currently 316 people actively infected with the coronavirus, 8 of whom confronted each other in the hospital as of Tuesday evening.
So far 213 cases with the Omicron variant
The omicron variant of the coronavirus made up 52 percent of the reported new infections in the past seven days. Omikron has now proven the infection process.
By Tuesday evening, a total of 213 infections with the new Omikron variant had been confirmed in Liechtenstein.
As the statistics from the Office of Statistics also show, the cumulative number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic now amounts to 6351 laboratory-confirmed infections. Of these, 5,964 survived the infection. A total of 71 cases have so far occurred in connection with a laboratory-confirmed Covid 19 disease.
The 7-day incidence per 100,000 population has fallen to 843. That means, in the last 7 days, 843 people extrapolated to 100,000 inhabitants tested positive.
The projected 14-day incidence per 100,000 inhabitants is 1507 cases.
