437,271 bicycle passages recorded on the Daladier bridge in 2021
Six years after its commissioning, the Daladier Bridge cycle path has seen its use double since its creation in 2015.
For the year 2021 alone, which has just ended, the bicycle counting terminal recorded no less than 437,271 passages. That’s a 36.5% increase in just one year. Something to rejoice in the City’s mobility service, which recalls that the cycle path was extended to the Kingdom Bridge in 2018, and that the Barthelasse crossroads was secured during the same period.
A future connection with the Via Rhôna
Next step: the connection of this axis with the Via Rhôna (euro cycle route from Lake Geneva to the sea) which must be developed on the Barthelasse by the Department, without forgetting the strengthening of tourist cycling loops, so many proposals that should not be to boost the number of visitors to this long controversial track.
