The Haute-Garonne prefecture decides to extend the obligation to wear a mask to the Toulouse hypercentre, in the face of the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
The Haute-Garonne prefecture hardens its tone and again imposes the wearing of a mask in the hypercentre of Toulouse, in the face of the increase deemed “worrying” in the spread of the virus and the incidence rate (1,383.5 cases detected positive per 100,000 people in Toulouse, while the alert threshold is set at 50).
In a press release published this Tuesday evening, the prefecture details the following measures:
Wearing a mask covering the nose, mouth and chin simultaneously is therefore compulsory from Wednesday 5 January at 00:00 on public roads and public spaces in Toulouse, for anyone aged 11 and over, every day of 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m., within the perimeter delimited by the following routes:
boulevard d’Arcole
boulevard de Strasbourg,
Boulevard Lazare Carnot,
Allées Forain François Verdier,
Jules Guesdes alleys,
avenue Maurice Hauriou,
Quai de Tounis, Quai de la Daurade,
Place de la Daurade,
Lucien Lombard quay,
◦ quai Saint-Pierre in its section going up to boulevard Armand Duportal, boulevard Armand Duportal, boulevard Lascrosses from place Armand Duportal, boulevard d’Arcole.
Note: Quai de Tounis, Quai de la Daurade, Place de la Daurade, Quai Lucien Lombard, Place Saint Pierre, Quai Saint-Pierre, Promenade Henri Martin, Boulevard d’Arcole, Boulevard de Strasbourg, Boulevard Lazare Carnot, Allées Forain François Verdier, Allées Jules Guesdes and Avenue Maurice Hauriou are included in the perimeter.
