Red Bull Salzburg pulls up four talents from FC Liefering – football
Vienna – Tuesday, January 4th, 2022, 2:06 p.m.
FC Red Bull Salzburg starts preparing for spring on Thursday.
There are four talents from FC Liefering. Amankwah Forson (19), Dorgeles Nene (19), Roko Simic (18) and Lukas Wallner (18) are fully prepared.
The Ghanaian attacking player Forson came to Mozart’s city a year ago and has scored six goals and eight assists in 26 games in the Admiral 2nd division. The Malian Nene has also been in Salzburg for a year and shone in the autumn with eight goals and seven assists in 16 games. He made it on the LAOLA1 team for the fall season. View here >>>
Simic only came from Lok Zagreb in the summer and hit the mark. The Croatian striker has already made short appearances for the RBS professionals in the Cup, in the Bundesliga and in the Champions League. In the 2nd division and the Youth League he celebrated a total of eleven goals.
Center-back Wallner is the only Austrian in the quartet. The Salzburg resident is now the captain of FC Liefering and was rewarded shortly before Christmas with a professional contract until summer 2025 for his good development in autumn.
Salzburg coach Matthias Jaissle is full of zest for action before the start of the training: “It was good for everyone to take a deep breath and recharge the batteries. But now we are also looking forward to being able to get started again.”
It starts on Thursday with a corona test, which is a basic requirement for the start of training. Team training begins on Saturday. Jerome Onguene (Cameroon) and Mohamed Camara (Mali), who are posted for the Africa Cup (9 January to 6 February), are missing.
