PSG-Nice and Marseille-Montpellier on the program for the round of 16
Paris SG-Nice and Marseille-Montpellier are the main posters for the round of 16 of the Coupe de France scheduled from January 28 to 31, according to the draw made on Tuesday.
PSG Kylian Mbappé, double tenant of the title, will welcome at the Parc des Princes, his runner-up in Ligue 1, Nice, exempted from the round of 16 after the sanction having hit Paris FC and Lyon (match given lost to both teams) due to incidents in the stands. Dimitri Payet’s OM will host the Hérault residents at the Vélodrome.
Toulouse and Saint-Etienne for the “Petits Poucets”
Two other duels between L1 clubs will also take place at the end of January: Nantes will host Brest, Monaco will travel to Lens, winner of the “derby” against Lille in the last round of 16 played on Tuesday evening at Bollaert. On the side of Ligue 2, there will be a clash between Nancy and Amiens, two teams qualified after a penalty shootout. The Lorraine team, the red lantern of its championship, brought down Rennes, the winner of 2019. The Picards came close to the correction in front of Linas-Montlhéry, a fifth division team.
