Prague: A man set up at a party, the guards saved his life
The drunk man lying on the ground was noticed by a police patrol in Javorská Street in Prague 20. The man was bleeding heavily from the top of his head, but he was conscious. When the guards saw the man, they immediately went to his aid.
“The men’s police stopped the bleeding, bandaged their heads, wrapped it in isothermal foil and handed over another of the ambulance service,” said Irena Seifert. The man’s memory was not very good because of the excess alcohol, so he could not remember what had happened. All he knew was that he had fallen to the ground at an ATM.
The wounded man dictated his wife’s phone number to the guards so the patrol could contact her. Meritorious work was later rewarded. In a few days, the grateful wife sent a letter of thanks to the police station.
Many thanks
“I would like to thank the guards of Prague 12, namely Mr. Henry H. and his colleagues, service numbers 1186, 1658 and 2585, for saving my husband’s life.

On the night of December 20-21, they did not hesitate to help him and call an ambulance service, despite the late hours of the night and the apparent drunkenness of my husband. He had a large laceration to his head, bled very hard and froze at night. Unfortunately, my husband does not remember what happened until 1 o’clock in the morning, when he was taken away by the rescue service and the police contacted me by phone, due to a head injury and also due to a “Christmas party that got out of control”.
But one thing is certain, he was disoriented, hypothermic and had a serious injury. Only thanks to the wit presence of the guards and their dedication did he not freeze and bleed at night, or worse. He himself does not want to return to it and has not drank a glass of beer since that day, but he owes you a lot. I think for a lifetime. Thank you again and all the best for the new year! ”
