MONTBARD: Greetings from Laurence Porte
The mayor of Montbard and vice-president of the Departmental Council of Côte-d’Or sends wishes for the pursuit of a positive identity of the town.
Due to the health situation, it is via a video on the YouTube platform that Laurence Porte sent her wishes for the year 2022.
After recalling that it is important to “continue to pay attention individually and collectively, respecting barrier gestures, wearing the mask correctly and getting vaccinated to reduce the risk of tension in the care of our fellow citizens”, the mayor of Montbard returned to municipal action in the context, by retaining “solidarity support, support for traders and artisans, listening to associations and its volunteers”.
For Laurence Porte, the city of Montbard did not lack voluntarism, nor adaptation in the health context during the year 2021. While being attentive to the control of its finances.
“Our efforts have paid off,” she said, continuing for 2022: “The line is clear. We maintain the right balance between large projects and smaller but necessary works ”.
The year which begins in Montbard will be notably that of the energy renovation and the accessibility of the town hall. By listing other operations scheduled in the coming months, Laurence Porte speaks of an improvement in the living environment, the quality of life for the inhabitants.
The decline in the Montbardoise population “over several decades” should not sweep away “positive signals for the future” (DMTO on the rise, premium paid to first-time buyers on the rise). As the end of Vallourec’s presence should not weigh down other industrial assets in the town.
