Five minors arrested who attacked and robbed a man in Antwerp City Park (Antwerp)
The Antwerp police have arrested five minors and a 19-year-old who had even previously attacked and robbed a man in the City Park. They were brought before the juvenile and investigative judge.
The victim was attacked around 3 am on Monday in the City Park on the Rubenslei in Antwerp. “He received punches and blows from a group of young people he crossed,” says the Antwerp police zone. “The man was also robbed of his mobile phone, money and bank cards.”
After the attack, the young people fled before the arrival of the police. Not much later, police teams on the Belgiëlei noticed an overview by date in consequences for the facts in the park. “They put themselves in the spotlight by throwing bicycles,” the police said. “During the search, part of the loot was found from one of the suspects.”
Of the six suspects arrested, five are minors, they are 16 and 17 years old. The second is a 19-year-old young man. “All are known for facts,” the police said. “The local police have launched an investigation.” The six suspects are and were brought before the juvenile and investigating judge.
