Euroleague (H): ASVEL – Monaco postponed
The first leg had been exciting, with this buzzer shot from William Howard which had given the victory to ASVEL on the floor of Monaco. The return match will not take place this Friday as planned. Due to the many cases of covid within its squad, ASVEL requested a match report from the Euroleague, which was accepted. The champion club of France could not indeed align the minimum number of players required on the score sheet. The date on which this match will be played with the 19th day will be revealed in the coming days.
ASVEL has not played since December 27 and its home defeat (83-85) against Limoges, its match against Bayern Munich, scheduled for 30, having been postponed. The meeting against Nanterre, scheduled for December 19, had also been reported due to many cases in the Ile-de-France workforce.
