47 new corona cases, including 24 Omikron – Liechtenstein
VADUZ – Within one day, 47 other people who die in Liechtenstein tested positive for the corona virus. The new omicron variant was detected in 24 cases. On Monday evening, 9 Covid-19 patients met in the hospital.

Over the past seven days, an average of 43 new cases were reported each day. In the previous seven days, there was an average of 37 new cases every day.
301 people are currently actively infected with the coronavirus, 9 of whom confronted each other in the hospital on Monday evening.
Omicron not yet dominant
The omicron variant of the coronavirus continues to grow. Within the last seven days, she was responsible for a good 42 percent of corona infections in Liechtenstein. Omikron is not yet dominant either, but it is well on its way there.
162 infections with the new omicron variant had been confirmed in Liechtenstein by Monday evening.
As the statistics from the Office of Statistics also show, the cumulative number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic is now 6283 laboratory-confirmed infections. Of these, 5,911 survived the infection. A total of 71 cases have so far occurred in connection with a laboratory-confirmed Covid 19 disease.
The 7-day incidence per 100,000 population is 769 cases. The 7-day incidence corresponds to the 7-day average – the incidence is simply extrapolated to 100,000 inhabitants for the purpose of international comparisons.
The projected 14-day incidence is 1418 cases. This means that in the last 14 days, 1418 people extrapolated to 100,000 inhabitants tested positive.
