January 3, 2022: Most of the 4,000 Zurich appointments for child vaccinations have been assigned
Around 90 percent of the 4,000 appointments available to date for corona child vaccination in the canton of Zurich have been taken. The health department had activated the appointments on Monday morning. On Monday evening, the Zurich health department confirmed a message from the SRF regional journal Zurich-Schaffhausen at the request of the Keystone-SDA news agency.
When the appointments were activated on Monday morning, there were delays due to technical problems. The dates should be activated at 8 a.m. But it took until 8:30 a.m., as the health department announced on Twitter.

January 3, 2022: Several cantons start vaccinating children
Several cantons gave the go-ahead for children’s vaccinations against the corona virus on Monday. Corresponding vaccination dates have been activated in various cantons. January 3, 2022: Central Swiss cantons are shortening the quarantine period
The cantons of central Switzerland are reducing the quarantine period for people who have had close contact with an infected person from ten to seven days. In doing so, they are following the recommendations of the Federal Office of Public Health (BAG).
The central Swiss health directors (ZGDK) exchanged views on the recommendations of the FOPH on Monday and jointly decided to shorten the quarantine period, as the ZGDK announced. The duration of isolation remains ten days in all of Central Switzerland.

January 1, 2022: Canton Zug adapts quarantine rules to BAG recommendations
The canton of Zug is also following the recommendations of the Federal Office of Public Health (BAG) and adapting the quarantine rules. The duration is reduced from ten to seven days and in quarantine & Only household members and very close contacts.
