MINSK, January 3 – Sputnik. President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed a decree providing for changes in the sector of decrees in the field of youth policy, the press service of the Belarusian leader said. The changes will affect the following services noted: the directions of presidential grants have been expanded. In out of five areas – science, education, health care, culture, youth policy – up to twenty cash benefits are provided. As noted in the press service of Alexander Lukashenko, thanks to the decree, youth projects will be promoted more actively, the role of “young citizens in the implementation of state youth policy will increase.”

The changes affected several decrees in the field of youth policy: on stimulating the creative work of young scientists, on grants from the President of Belarus and on issues of state support for the Belarusian Republican Youth Union.

MINSK, January 3 – Sputnik. President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed a decree providing for changes in the sector of decrees in the field of youth policy, the press service of the Belarusian leader said.

The edits will affect the following decrees:

No. 367 “On improving the stimulation of the creative work of young scientists” dated August 11, 2005;
No. 425 “On grants of the President of the Republic of Belarus in science, education, health care, culture” dated September 13, 2013;
No. 559 “On some issues of state support of the public association” Belarusian Republican Youth Union “dated December 17, 2012

The press service noted that in this way the directions for the use of presidential grants will be expanded.

“Along with the spheres of science, education, health and culture, grants will be provided in the field of youth policy – up to 100 grants in total,” the statement says.

In out of five areas – science, education, health care, culture, youth policy – up to twenty cash benefits are provided.

In addition, the composition of the commissions considering candidates for the appointment of grants and presidential scholarships.

As noted in the press service of Alexander Lukashenko, thanks to the decree, youth projects will be promoted more actively, the role of “young citizens in the implementation of state youth policy will increase.”
